Poem in Creation: Pray and Obey

Pray and Obey

Pray and Obey

What it is they Say.

Before I go down to Lay

My head, And Sleep This day.

Calm and Decay
I dream it Away.
Until I wake up
And see the light of Day!

Prophets have said
Lay your head, go to bed
Early to bed
Rising inside my head.

Why, it is said,
That I must go to bed.
When Life, must be lived
And death, is dead.

Again, born today
I live, In his Say.
I read, and seed and deed
While for me he doth bleed?

Where is thy sting
As I put on my ring?
And sing and sing, do I sing.
Before I doth sink.

I sigh with life today,
before I kneel to pray.
To HIM, I pray and dream
Before I cross, the beam.
